Reasons Why Numerology is Important

Numerology is the study of numbers. You can see numerology as an occult science that deals with the symbolic aspect of numbers. In numerology letters are 'translated' into figures. This is not as unusual as it sounds. Numerology translated means'knowledge of numbers’. Date of birth contains information about our character and way of life that we chose. It's like a window to us invisible, yet real world. Numerology is one of the helpers that we have brought into the world and it is up to each of us, whether this assistance and will use that opens for himself and another door leading to a greater understanding and knowledge.
Numerology is the ultimate learning about the importance of numbers of our birth dates and thus the interpretation of our destiny. Numerology is very old. The Babeloniers, which are also responsible for astrology, kept themselves involved with it. An important role in the development of numerology was later played by the Greek philosopher and scientist Pythagoras, who went out of the view that everything can be expressed numerically.
Pythagoras determined the quality of each number and instituted a system with which we work today. This art was known in Babylon, Egypt, India and China. Numerology gives us each and every issue of our birth dates that individual value and quality of emotional energy and it allows us to appreciate and recognize our very own personality and answer the question "Who we are". It gives us information about our strengths and weaknesses and how best to manage and use. It also leads us to enable us to their weaknesses tolerant, because we have just given their life's journey.
Compared with the numbers in the date of birth of other people will help us find what unites us and not what we're different. Numerology will answer the question of where and why differences between people exist. Ability or inability is not indicative of anything good or bad character of a man, but only that everyone was born with different qualities. Had parents often noticed the date of birth of their children, it would be rather eliminate prejudice that children must be the same as parents. And by then it may be possible to use the talents and abilities that children actually have to do to help them find the maximum possible rational solutions to their way of life.
Numerology deals with numbers and these numbers are used for influencing the human life in a positive way

Relationships and Your Love Life: The Truth About Soul Mates

One of the most popular topics in the New Age arena, and also in the mundane marketplace, is soul mates. It’s a very lucrative subject for New Age marketers, and they frequently promote the myth that everyone has the perfect match out there somewhere and all you have to do is take a few simple spiritual steps to attract your match and live happily ever after.
It sounds wonderful, but unfortunately this premise is rooted in illusion. The truth can sting a bit at first, but you will ultimately be more successful in your love life if you put aside idealism and high expectations, and that’s why we want to tell you what we’ve found.
The results of our empirical research clearly debunk the concept of “twin flame” or one-and-only soul mates, that another person is your other half, that you too, can live in permanent romantic bliss, just like some New Age promoters claim, if you follow their advice. There are books to be sold! Damn the truth!
The reality is that you have many soul mates, and that each connection is for a different reason. While some are better than others, our findings show that there isn’t a perfect person for you; no soul mate connection is perfect (not even close). In fact, most soul mates are for learning spiritual lessons.
Another major misconception about soul mates is the idea that they should last forever. Alas, this too is pure fiction. Very few are destined to last a lifetime. We realize that the thought of not being able to make a good relationship permanent is unsettling, but you are stronger than you realize; you don’t need a soul mate to be happy. Sure, in some cases you can stay together like roommates, but deep down you know when it’s time to move on.
Another common error in seeking a soul mate is the intent to find a “life partner,” an exclusive, lifetime partnership. Could you imagine approaching friendships like that?
Ronda and Michelle, both heterosexual, married, and entrepreneurs, meet at a party. They hit it off because they have so much in common. Over the next few months, they grow very close. Then, one day Michelle says to Ronda, “Ronda, I want you to commit to a ‘lifetime best friend’ contract with me. I don’t ever want to lose you as my best friend, and if you really value our friendship like I do, you’ll commit to it. Oh, and by the way, you can’t have any other close friends. Only acquaintances.” This type of fear based behavior is not rooted in authentic, unconditional love.
Is there a spiritual reason why everyone has many soul mates instead of just “the One”? We believe there is. Over the course of a lifetime, it’s impossible for one person to meet all your emotional, intellectual, and in many cases, sexual needs, and help you learn all your lessons. Yes, friends can meet some of those needs too, but sometimes fate and karma have something else in store for you.
Despite these truths, you will still find the New Age marketers and inspirational speakers promoting “find your (one and only) soul mate” programs. Why? Pandering to the instant gratification needs of lonely singles who don’t know a lot about soul mates is very profitable, as is pandering to escapism demands; escapism is commonly mistaken for spirituality today.
Ask the soul mate marketers about fate and karma and you’ll get a blank look or they’ll claim, “you can change your fate” with their advice. Really? If so, why don’t they keep a detailed record of all their clients who found their “soul mate,” and those who didn’t, instead of blaming the client for “not being inspired enough” when the find-your-soul-mate plan fails?
Ultimately, your personal karma dictates your love life. While it’s true you can still be happy by making the most of your karma, no amount of inspiration, soul mate seminars, or spells will alter your personal fate (which is the same exact thing as destiny, by the way).
If it’s your fate to go through a decade or more of not having a very good love life, that’s what you’ll have. But your attitude about it can make all the difference in the world. If it’s your destiny to never have a life-long, monogamous connection, and instead have multiple romantic connections, that’s what you’ll have. Again, your outlook is very important, as is dropping idealistic expectations. It’s okay to have believed in the falsehood of the one and only, forever, perfect soul mate. You’re not alone. After all, everyone is practically programmed from birth due, in part, to fairy-tales and romantic movies. But now you can act on the truth, and you’ll have a much more rewarding and satisfying life in doing so.

What You Need to Know About Mediation

It seems that the truth about meditation is absolutely shrouded in mystery, based on the feedback we typically get from everyday acquaintances upon mentioning that we meditate regularly.
You would think the truth about meditation has to do with flighty cosmonauts wasting time chasing rainbows and unicorns, sitting in silence waiting for something magical to happen, like children waiting for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.
Some people even assume that people who meditate are just not very intelligent, or that they are delusional.
In reality, this is far from the truth about meditation.
In fact, our findings clearly show that people who devote themselves to the discipline of regular meditation aren’t New Age flakes or less intelligent than average.
The truth about meditation is that even with only about 15-20 minutes of it each day, you’ll experience one of the great benefits: detaching from what is commonly called “monkey mind.”
A minor example of monkey mind is when you can’t stop the same song lyrics from playing over and over in your head. More accurately, your subconscious won’t let go of those lyrics for whatever reason.
The subconscious mind is commonly underestimated. No doubt those who have attempted regular meditation have experienced the power of the subconscious mind attempting to re-gain control; it will do anything to make you avoid detaching from it (i.e., a good meditative state) such as creating an itch on your scalp, or a sudden fear that you forgot to turn off your oven.
More serious cases of monkey mind can be extremely burdensome. Surely you’ve had the unpleasant experience of your mind racing in circles, persistently worrying about something, not being able to focus, perhaps not being able to sleep, and completely lacking any peace of mind. It’s not only mentally unhealthy, but also bad for your overall physical health.
Just like a dog chasing its tail, with your mind spinning around uncontrollably, you can’t help but go along on the unsettling ride. Your fears abound and it’s impossible to focus.
Or, you may not experience acute mental bouts, but instead regular negative thinking and, or mild anxiety.
Meditation allows you to avoid those toxic episodes. The truth about meditation is that although you can’t stop your mind (particularly your subconscious mind) from thinking negative thoughts, you can detach from it.
Your higher-self (or soul, or God-self, or whatever you want to call it) patiently waits for you to meditate, to come back down to home-base to reconnect with your spirit and leave the horrors of your subconscious mind behind, at least for a while.
An aside, perhaps you believe that your mind moves too fast for meditation, that it’s only for those who think more slowly. This is yet another myth about meditation. People with very fast thinking processes benefit just as much from regular meditation as those who think more methodically. Meditation lends clarity to your thinking and increases your peace of mind.
In addition, regular meditation can also lead to increased self-understanding, greater insight about others and everyday situations, and heightened intuition.
It’s okay to have believed the falsehoods about meditation. But now that you know the truth about meditation, you should act on it.

How to Get to Heaven

How do you get to heaven? Will you be turned away? Take this short quiz and find out.
Answer "yes" or "no" if you've ever done any of the following: cursed; eaten meat; enjoyed any of the finer things in life, such as designer clothing or expensive meals; used numerology, astrology, tarot cards, or consulted a psychic; listened to and enjoyed music other than religious music; failed to attend religious services on a regular basis; questioned your religious leader; danced in public; been intoxicated; worn clothing that revealed your legs; worn platform heels; worn clothing of the opposite sex; looked at porn; touched yourself in an impure manner; had sex for the purpose of satisfaction rather than reproduction; had sex outside of marriage; had a sexual dream about someone other than your partner; had a homosexual experience; received or fantasized about receiving, either directly or indirectly, money for sex; paid for sex, either directly or indirectly; had an open relationship; divorced.
If you have done any of the above, congratulations! You're human. None of these actions generate negative karma.
Next, consider if you've ever done any of these things: condemned others for being homosexual, bisexual, transgender, or of a different race; lied; cheated; manipulated or intentionally hurt another; stolen something.
These actions directly above, among others, create negative karma and you'll have to balance it, eventually.
How do you get to heaven? Or for that matter, what about hell? Does it really exist? In all of our past life regression and life-between-life empirical research over the last 25 years, we've never seen any evidence of hell.
However, a small percentage of people who have experienced NDEs (near death experiences) have reported they perceived a place that seemed like hell, complete with people being tortured and an evil presence.
Were those people really in hell, and did they not get the "how do you get to heaven" memo?
In our opinion, in each case we've seen or read about, it seemed to us that it was a situation where their guides and subconscious mind created an illusion that would help them to straighten out their life, their mind created a vision based on their religious programming, or it was the result of experiencing lower astral planes, sometimes due to a drug overdose or other factors. Interestingly, in many of these cases, when the person yelled out to a higher power, like God, to help them, they immediately left the place that seemed like hell.
Rather than a final destination that's reserved only for the religious elite, heaven seems to be a temporary place where all souls go after death of the body in order to review, rest, learn, and plan for the next incarnation.
As for the question, "how do you get to heaven," our findings show that, in general, if you treat others as you want to be treated, you will create positive karma and future experiences that are closer to heaven on earth.

Vegetarian Diet Does Not Make You More Spiritual

It's common for people in the New Age arena to believe the myth about a vegetarian diet and spirituality, that it's necessary to become enlightened.
The pro-vegetarianism contention goes something like this: "I am 100% for life and I love animals, so I avoid eating meat. Animals are my friends. Why would you eat your friends? A vegan diet brings more peace and enlightenment to every living being."
Or, the argument goes like this: "Eating meat is akin to murder. Plus, it's too heavy; plants are much lighter and better for your body, thus, your spirituality is enhanced on a strict vegetarian diet."
Never mind that there's never been a strict vegetarian civilization in the history of the planet that has survived for any length of time.
If it's true that eating meat is murder, that means that most animals, including humans, are murderers. That bacteria, those cute little micro-organisms you just killed by washing your hands? That makes you a murderer too, as does killing plants, which are also living organisms.
About twenty years ago, we learned firsthand about the myth of a vegetarian diet and spirituality. We avoided animal products for many months. Even though we took a careful approach, including doing internal cleansing along with the diet transition, in time we realized it's a dysfunctional diet for our body type.
A strict vegetarian diet brings you closer to God all right--it decimates your health if you stay on it long enough. It saps your energy, makes you vitamin deficient (e.g., vitamin a, and b-vitamins), and eventually, makes most people look and feel unhealthy.
It was very telling how much energy we had, bouncing off the walls, when we first had a vitamin b-12 supplement, after not having animal products for a long time--we were vitamin b-12 deficient. Unfortunately, supplements and toxic substances like processed, unfermented soy aren't good, long-term substitutes for the nutrition your body needs.
The concept of a vegetarian diet and spirituality has been warped beyond recognition, in our view.
Don't get us wrong, we do believe short-term vegetarianism can be very healthy, such as doing a vegetable juice fast for a while. We've done three week herbal cleanses (no meat or animal products, no starches, etc.) that we believe have been very helpful for detoxification and our overall health.
Dr. Mercola of mercola.com advocates a vegan-rich diet, along with free-range, chemical-free meats. He claims that only less than 30% of the population has the body type that tolerates strict vegetarianism, or veganism. We believe it may be lower than 30%, based on our observations. Even those who say, "I had my blood-work done, it shows I'm fine," may be fine for now, but the longer you avoid vitamin rich animal products, the more likely your health may suffer.
Here's a video from a former vegetarian who speaks of the dangers of a strict vegan diet. She says that after a year of an approximately 95% vegan diet, she felt great, but then her health began to decline: http://www.curetoothdecay.com/private-lessons/test
It's astonishing how many people buy into the vegetarian diet and spirituality myth and erroneously believe it's more spiritual, when the exact opposite is true for most people.
We've meditated regularly and undertaken other spiritual disciplines, such as Reiki, for many years and we can assure you that eating a diet that works for your body, even if it includes animal products, won't negatively affect your spiritual growth or cause you to incur negative karma.
While it's true that it's not easy to meditate and get closer to your God-self (or higher-self, etc.) after eating a huge steak dinner, avoiding meat altogether is likely to negatively affect your health over the long-term.
It's okay to have believed the falsehood about a strict vegetarian diet and spirituality, but now you should act on the truth

Spiritual, Not Religious!

Spiritual, Not Religious!Today this seems to be a more popular view and belief system, and as time goes by, it increases in popularity. More people are losing interest in "religion," which is usually closely tied to a "religious denomination," however, they do consider themselves "spiritual" people.

Here are some dictionary definitions:

Religion: The life or condition of a person in a religious order.

Religious: (1) Having or showing belief in and reverence for God or a deity. (2) Of, concerned with, or teaching religion. (I believe they mean a particular religion.)

Spiritual: Of, relating to, consisting of, or having the nature of spirit; not tangible or material.

Spirituality: The state, quality, manner, or fact of being spiritual.

Some people are opposed to "organized religions" that collect money and own real estate. There is so much corruption these days; in government, in big business, and also in the major religious denominations. Meanwhile, they "brainwash" many of their followers to "believe" that people who choose not to attend their meetings are; lost, evil, unfortunate, or "in need of help."

The truth of the matter is... that there are millions of people the world over, who are much better human beings than some of the ones who wear their religion like a badge of honor (or who brag about it) as though it makes them "better people." There are church people who say and do all kinds of "messed up" things, meanwhile, there are people who choose not to subscribe to an organized religion, and they do nothing but caring, giving, loving, and positive things. They spread good karma, they do random acts of kindness, they do not hurt people, animals, or mother earth...yet, the church people look down on them, as though they are "lost."

All of the major religions, and I have studied them all, seem to preach or teach the following:

Love other people, be kind to other people, help other people, forgive other people.

Do not hurt people, do not harm people, do not kill people, do not steal from people.

Of course there are many other precepts, and teachings, but these are the main ones, which all the major religions share. Yet... most people are not able to follow these simple rules.

************************************************************************************

"Spiritual, Not Religious!" That's the way more and more people would describe themselves today, and I don't blame them. It seems as though you meet more people, who are "better people," who are spiritual, rather than the ones who have perfect "church attendance."

************************************************************************************

The world is becoming more and more of a scary and dangerous place...and there are more people who would rather spend a larger percentage of their time at home, and I don't blame them one bit. Because of all the bad behavior that is "out there," the numbers of people are increasing, who would rather "work from home," or "make a living from home."

If someone needs a job, I cannot imagine why they would not rather find "an income" that they can earn from home. There are places like www.HowToSurviveInAmericaToday.com where you can find all sorts of materials to help make your life better! Forget about the silly get rich quick nonsense, because those silly plans never work...however, there are many ways that a person can legitimately make a steady living from the comfort of their own home!

When looking for materials to help you learn about earning a living from home, you can find titles such as: 7 Great Ways to Make Money Online! ...or... 10 Great Ways for Women to Make Money from Home!

Just remember that you can do anything that you make up your mind to do!

Good Luck & Many Blessings!

Senate Announces Deal to Avoid Default, House GOP Expected to Bend: Weak Demand? Apple Reportedly Reduces iPhone 5c Orders

Senate leaders announced a bipartisan deal Wednesday to reopen government and raise the debt ceiling, moving the country closer to ending weeks of brinkmanship over Obamacare, federal spending and debt.

"This is not a time for pointing fingers or blame. This is a time for reconciliation," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, in announcing the agreement, which would reopen the government and extend the debt ceiling through early next year. The bill will also appoint Senators to work on a budget agreement over the next two months, in the hopes of avoiding another round of brinkmanship in 2014.

He was followed by Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell who said Republicans would continue to fight for a repeal to Obamacare, but their would be no victory this week. "For today, the relief we hope for is to reopen the government, avoid default and protect the historic cuts we achieved under the budget control act," McConnell said. He later added that he expected to have a vote Wednesday on the measure.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said President Barack Obama "applauds" the deal, and encouraged both chambers of Congress to expeditiously pass the legislation.

As the Senate gavelled to order, House Republicans gathered to discuss their path forward. Several staff sources suggested that Speaker John Boehner would move forward with a vote on the Senate measure, which would likely pass with the help of Democratic votes. "Looks like we’ll eat the Reid-McConnell deal," one House GOP source told TIME. "It’ll rely on Democratic votes."

Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, said it was his "understanding" that the House would act on the measure first, thereby avoiding time-consuming procedural hurdles in the Senate hours before Treasury runs out of borrowing authority. But House Republican leadership did not confirm the order of events. "No decision has been made yet," said Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the House GOP whip before the meeting.

Multiple Republican Senators, including Kentucky’s Rand Paul, said they expect the Senate plan to pass with a strong majority of Republican votes. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, one of the original proponents of the failed plan to shut down the government to defund Obamacare, said he would not vote for the deal, but would also not try to block the Senate from moving forward.

The emerging agreement isn’t sitting well with some Republicans. Sen. Lindsay Graham, who has long argued for a grand bargain to address long-term fiscal issues, called it a "joke. "We took some breadcrumbs and left the whole meal on the table," he said.

Graham continued to criticize the tactics the House Republicans have behaved over recent weeks. "The way we’re behaving and the path we’ve taken over the past couple of weeks leads to a marginalized party in the eyes of the American people," he said. "It has been the best two weeks for the Democratic Party in recent times because they were out of the spotlight and didn’t have to showcase their ideas."

Sen. Kelly Ayotte expressed hope that more conservative colleagues will not repeat their mistakes of the last month. "We’ve been asking from the beginning how does this end, how do you achieve what you’re purporting to achieve on defunding Obamacare," she said. "And I never got an answer to that. I don’t think there still is an answer to that. So if we have learned nothing else from this whole exercise I hope we learn that we shouldn’t get behind a strategy that cannot succeed."

According to a Senate Republican leadership aide, under the agreement, the government would be funded through Jan. 15, 2014 unless a budget agreement is reached sooner, while the debt limit would be raised through Feb. 7. The extraordinary accounting measures used to keep the government under the borrowing cap would not be prohibited under the deal. An anti-fraud measure will be added to Obamacare, requiring income verification for those receiving subsidies to purchase insurance under the law.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has asked the two companies it contracts with to produce iPhones — Hon Hai and Pegatron — to scale back on production of the iPhone 5c model.

This news comes from unnamed sources, so take it with a grain of salt. Pegatron was apparently ordered to cut production by less than a fifth, while Hon Hai was apparently told to cut production by a third.

It wouldn’t be incredibly out of the ordinary to scale back on production after an initial launch period winds down, but these reports of Apple scaling back production coupled with recent price cuts of the iPhone 5c have been, according to the Journal, "raising concerns about weaker-than-expected demand and its pricing strategy for the device."

Leading A Spiritual Life: Pondering Death: The Gateway To Your Life Purpose

Living spiritually means believing in and connecting with something that is greater than one's self. For some, this tends me some divine entity such as God, Buddha, Jehovah, or any other higher power. By living spiritually you follow a path through self discovery that can lead you in many directions. You tend to base most big decisions on a moral code derived from some form of divine instructions.

Leading a spiritual life is a journey, a path that will help you learn and grow in wisdom every day. This is not an ending place, not a destination, but a practice that you will forever follow through all of your years.

This lifestyle and belief can also lead you to a life of better understanding of yourself and others. You will learn to forgive and be conscientious of other people and the world around us. In order to do this, and have a deep understanding of yourself and others, you must first have a guide. This is your "higher power".

Whatever a person's spiritual belief is, they are more likely to have a better sense of community, health and guidance, as well as a greater sense of the world as it is. These people are more likely to figure out what their purpose is earlier on in life than one who does not lead a spiritual life at all.

It doesn't matter what your "higher power" is, or if you have one specific one, the general idea is that there are certain morals that you can gain by leading a life of faith and genuine openness to a greater world.

Soon after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 I was invited to work in partnership with the Russian Ministry of Education in delivering a character education curriculum to high schools. The curriculum was titled: "My Journey in Life"

I journeyed to ten major cities in the Russian Far East, lecturing to thousands of high school teachers, principals, curriculum writers and administrators.

The curriculum that I introduced, contained 96 chapters. Of all these chapters, the one that stood out the most in terms of stimulating interest was the one that addressed the issue of life after death.

One can only guess as to why life after death was the most appealing chapter for students. However, unquestionably it became apparent to me that enormous numbers of people including students themselves were having what is often referred to as "paranormal" experiences. Other terms used include "spiritual" and "out of body" experiences. It was only natural then for students to want to get answers to their questions.

Since then, I have traveled extensively and the same observation is evident, particularly in the developing world such as South Pacific island nations. Also one only has to look at the increasing number of movies and TV programs that contain para normal and supernatural themes to know that there is a growing numbers of people that are thirsty for spiritual knowledge or curious at least.

Talking about death and dying and the question of life after death may not engender positive reactions at the family dinner table. However, from my experience as a parent, teacher and life coach, discussion of these issues can be very educational and revealing.

Why is that you may ask? Simply because these topics help to teach us how to live NOW and open the gate to pondering our values and life purpose.

In other words, by contemplating these topics it helps people like you and I to truly appreciate life itself, to realize that our time on this Earth is limited, to answer the question of "who am I?" and to truly connect with our life purpose

Now what could be the benefits of wrapping our minds around such profound issues?

By even attempting to answer the aforementioned questions, it requires that the individual digs deep to the core of their being. By doing so, answers can emerge that provide an impetus to seek a path where one can come to love what they do every single day of their lives. The implication is being able to live a life that is significant causing the individual to leave a legacy that they can be proud of. When one's life purpose is clear, doors open.

Forgiveness Clarified: You'll Want To Know What It Isn't. These 7 False Beliefs Will Surprise You!

Our broken heart laments: "Why should I forgive?"

There are truly a lot of mistaken notions floating around trying to describe forgiveness. It is no wonder most people do not choose to work whole-heartedly at doing it!

True forgiveness, nonetheless, is highly desirable. It always renews a pleasing flow of inner peace and weightless joy into the mind and heart of everyone who fully and frequently does it. Why wouldn't anyone want this?

Let us remove any hindering objections by first getting a close look at seven things forgiveness is not.

FORGIVENESS IS NOT

1) Forgiveness Is Almost Never A Feeling

Never wait for the positive feeling to turn up. You drag yourself to work when you really don't prefer to, don't you? You stick with it for a paycheck or perhaps for professional goals.

Forgiving is no different. The "pay check" is the healing of our emotions and a fresh start to life; our "career goal" is becoming a better friend of the Lord!

Our Lord doesn't command us to eat. He is sure that we will! Our Lord instructs us to forgive, because He recognizes we will not normally wish to go after it.

2) Forgiveness Is Not Glossing Over The Wrong

Did you have training wheels with your bike? They really helped us get going in the beginning, but they became a hindrance as soon as we no longer had need of them.

Understating the actual harm which happened or the pain we suffered is a "training wheel" which helps us start heading along the journey of giving true mercy.

Eventually, some grievances turn up that just can't be glossed over. Genuine mercy identifies transgression as what it is-- and then gives it to God. Only then is our emotional health restored.

3) Forgiveness Is Not Holding On To The Memory

All those that fly a lot know what it feels like to become caught in a holding pattern, circling the airfield waiting for their plane's turn to land.

A injustice against us clutches our heart with a similar sort of "holding pattern." Our thoughts and feelings keep returning to it!

Jesus commands that we forgive thoroughly from the heart. As soon as this takes place our thoughts "settle down for a landing." All of the distress disappears! We actually become one with our God in His ability to forgive without remembrance!

4) Forgiveness Is Not Making Allowances For The Misdeed

There are always rationalizations for doing wrong but no excuses. Good reasons may help our understanding of why they acted the way they did--and gain compassion for them.

Our God clearly looks at the blend of hurt and ignorance out of which all morally wrong activity proceeds. This deeper understanding propels the Lord to feel compassion for us.

Even so, He never excuses or condones wickedness. He despises it. He opposes it. He "threw the book" at it at the cross of Christ. And by this way He made a way for us to become forgiven.

That was arduous work on God's part, yet making a way to love us freely was worth the suffering He had to undergo. Aren't you glad?

5) Forgiveness Is NOT A Reward For Good Efforts At Reconciliation

Whenever someone wrongs me, that makes him "the sinner." But if he sees it and attempts to make it up to me and I go on hating him that makes me the sinner! Why is that?

Justice requires that I forgive the one who sincerely shows penitence to me and wants to reconcile. This, however, is definitely not the forgiveness Christianity requires!

Our life in Christ is based on mercy, not justice based. We are called to forgive just like our Lord does. Christian forgiveness is a pure blessing of mercy that the guilty party need do nothing to merit.

6) Forgiveness Is NOT "Letting Them Off The Hook"

We appear to think we have a great butcher's hook in our heart where transgressors are put up to dry. Pardoning such people would be irresponsibly "letting them off the hook."

Just the opposite is true: we would be placing them into Father God's Hands. No one cares more about justice being restored than the God who calls for mercy.

By His kindness our Lord endeavors to bring everybody to repentance and restoration. He will work with every case of wrong we turn over to Him. So let Him have His go at it!

7) Forgiveness Is Not The Same as Trusting.

If a "pal" makes off with your best videos as he is leaving, you definitely don't have to ask him back! You are also allowed, at times ethically expected, to call the police and access the legal system.

But you must absolutely forgive. That is not an option. Forgiveness is commanded of us to release to each person in every situation. Nobody needs to be worthy of our forgiveness. Trust, however is different. Trust needs to be deserved.

WHAT FORGIVENESS IS.

Forgiveness is this: it is giving your wound, the individual and the grievance to God and trusting Him with it !

Sweep away these 7 myths that may be causing you to hold on to hurt when you ought to let it go. Renewed inner peace is waiting for you!

Release it all to God. And then breathe the heavenly air of freedom!

Why Eating Too Fast Is Bad For You

You eat too fast - but you are not in a rush. You are used to doing this, but you need to try to eat slower now because it makes you prone to obesity. By eating quickly, you will overindulge and overfill your stomach. But this is not the only health risk you are up against. You are also at risk of other ailments or medical conditions.

A study made at the Medical University of South Carolina indicated that eating on a run boosts episodes of acid reflux by 50 percent. This happens as the digestive tract is overfilled with huge amounts of food, which cause overload of stomach acid. After a few months, affected individuals may also suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which may then link with more severe health issues like bleeding or constricting of the esophagus.

So, how long should it take before you'll finish up your food? Your stomach needs 20 minutes to alert your brain that it is already full, so it is just right that you enjoy eating your food for this equivalent amount of time. You think this is hard, right? You are accustomed to eating your meals for five minutes or less. How in the world can you stretch out your mealtime to 20 minutes?

Do not worry. You only need to work on some strategies. First, make every mealtime as your family time. Discuss what happened to you during the day and update your family about your activities and friends. Before you know it, everyone is also giving his or her share of mealtime tales.

To fully correct your fast-eating habit, consider these tips:

1. Do not eat right after a disagreement or while still upset. You do not only have the tendency to eat fast. It is also very likely that you will overeat.

2. Taste the food you have in your mouth. Give attention to how it tastes and feel its texture. Enjoy every single chew. Swallow it before you go for your next bite.

3. By holding the spoon and fork all throughout your meal, you have the inclination to ready yourself for another bite even if you have not ingested yet the food inside your mouth. To understand how to make your eating slower, bring your spoon and fork down after each bite. Take them only after you have swallowed the food.

4. Avoid mindless eating. Eat at the dining table and not while watching computer or television or else, you will only bite food one after another without you knowing it. You may also consider eating in a tranquil environment, so you can focus on your food.

5. Consume foods in smaller bites only. Count up to 30 as you chew up each bite.

You will realize several things as you begin to eat slower. First, you'll learn to enjoy your food and appreciate the person who cooks it. Second, you will obtain a trimmer waistline. Moreover, you will have a stronger body because it is able to take up nutrients better.

Developing Your Spiritual Life Through Meditation

There seems to be greater interest these days in the general populous about feeding and nourishing the spiritual side of a person's life. While not always attached to a religious organization, the idea of developing a more spiritual life is starting to take a higher priority for many people these days. Many people believe that this has to do with the widespread interest in the "Law of Attraction," which has gain a great deal of attention in the last few years thanks to the movie, "The Secret."

The fundamental principle of the Law of Attraction is that you will draw into your life the very things that will you give most of your attention to. When it comes to increasing a person's spiritual life and fostering spiritual development, this would mean that the more attention you put on spiritually oriented thoughts, ideas and activities, the more you will be able to enjoy an increased level of spiritual growth.

At the same time, if you want your spiritual life to flourish, then it is best to let go of any kind of fear-based thinking. Focusing on what you fear or on other negative things will impede spiritual development and will sidetrack you from what you really want out of life.

One of the practices that many people find to be very helpful and supportive in their quest for spiritual enlightenment is meditation. Meditation techniques can be very helpful in the two main areas of the Law of Attraction, which are intention and attention.

First, you must figure out what it is that you want from life, or from a specific event. This would be identifying your intention. After you have clarified what your intention is, then you can put your energy toward focusing on that, or giving it your attention.

The more clearly you can define your intention and the more focused and consistent your attention toward it, the better you will be able to start manifesting your desires. Mindfulness meditation can help to clear the mind, calm it down and focus thoughts, allowing the development of clearer intentions. When the mind is calmer and not distracted by a myriad of cluttered thoughts, attention can better be focused as well.

Enjoying a rich spiritual life comes down to how we choose to spend out time, energy, talents and focus while in this mortal existence. The choice always exists of whether you want to live in a fear-based world or in a love-based world. What people on a spiritual path come to realize, after investing their time, prayers, meditations and focus, is that the world you ultimately experience has more to do with what you consciously choose to think about and focus your attention on.

Those who have been actively and eagerly engaged in developing their spiritual life will also be the first to say that the spiritual journey of each person will be quite different. Because all people begin at different stages in life and circumstances, even when the goal is exactly the same, the experiences that a person will have along the way will be unique to each individual.

Living a Spiritual Life

What does it mean to live a spiritual life... to really, truly, deeply live from the place of ease, grace, joy and love no matter what shows up in the world around you? This is a question I've been pondering for a few months now, and one that is getting answered as I face some challenges and changes in my life, business and family.

Living a spiritual life isn't about skirting along the surface of understanding; rather it's about being willing to look for deeper meaning, understanding, lessons and gifts in every moment of your life.

Like right now, for instance. Are you fully here, in this moment reading and absorbing this article (and giving yourself the focus and time you deserve to be fully present)? Or, are you reading this article with a dozen other things running through your mind feeling stressed about how much you have to do and how little time you have to do it in.

I'm simply asking you to notice what you're doing right now. It's only in stopping to notice what you're doing that you can begin to uncover the gems that are waiting in each moment for you, including this one.

This consistent "noticing," awareness and presence in each moment is what living the spiritual life is all about. Being spiritual doesn't mean you have to retreat to a mountain top in India for a month of meditation. And, it isn't something you do at your convenience when you feel you need it because the "going got tough." Living a spiritual life is as simple as choosing to not get angry when someone cuts you off on the highway... and instead choosing to bless them with love and pray for that driver's ease and safety. It means embracing a spiritual way of being in every moment of every day (or at least noticing when you have contracted into fear, doubt, anger, lack, etc. and doing something to shift into a higher state of being).

On the flip side, it's also important to see that living a spiritual life isn't about how peaceful, loving and connected you feel when you are alone with yourself. Yes, it includes that, but the spiritual "rubber hits the road" when you move into aligned and integrated action in the physical realm.

This is the most critical part of the journey of living a spiritual life... that you learn how to integrate what you're experiencing in you inner world with how you show up in the outer world. This is part of why the outer world of my business will be transforming and shifting in the coming months... because I am transforming and shifting on the inside and I'm seeing things in my business (and my life) that no longer feel aligned with who I am today.

So, in closing, I'm going to recommend that you to take five minutes right now to ask yourself how you're doing living your spiritual life and jot down whatever comes to you. If you have questions write them down; if you think I'm crazy write that down, too. If you're resonating with this question and yearn to live a more aligned, expanded and spiritual life in every area, including your business... then write about what that might look like for you. Please give yourself the gift of a few minutes (right now) to reflect on this question. Your freedom may very well reside in what you'll discover.

Coming To Your Own Spiritual Awakening

Spiritual awakening refers to soul awakening, self-development, self-transformation, leading a balanced and integrated life, leading an internally joyous life, and leading a spiritual life.

In one sense, spiritual awakening is ingrained as the by default universal purpose in the DNA of each of us. And we are already undergoing spiritual transformation - the pace and method and outward conditions differ. Becoming conscious of this silent awakening, we become open to make little practical steps in our life to expedite the process.

When we look around and see the world, we find that there is a gradual progression in the manifestation of spirit or consciousness in nature.

There are mountains, hills, stones, ground, river and other water bodies that seem to be inert or dead. We sense the functioning of spirit in them as well. Mountains and rivers have their own cycles of life.

The next advanced form comes in the form of plants and animals. There is gradual complexity from one celled plants and animals to giant ones.

We find the pinnacle of the manifestation of consciousness in human beings. Let us become humble because with this truth comes the great responsibility for manifesting the full potential of spirit in our life. Perhaps it is the true purpose of all of us; rather all of us are guided by destiny and our present actions to serve this purpose in conscious and unconscious ways.

When we experience that there is something grand, something magnificent, supernatural or some creative or governing principle in life, whatever you call him - and remember it is not about thinking, it is about experiencing - we open ourselves to the possibility of spiritual awakening on a conscious level.

Spiritual awakening is a gradual process; it is the unwritten commandment that we are unconsciously following. The only need is to become aware of it and then making little steps toward it consciously.

The Four Classes Of Spiritually Advancing Persons:

When we are leading a normal life, we are also making spiritual advancement. It is happening passively.

When we are leading a religious life, following truly the teachings of any religion, we are progressing toward this goal much faster. The original teachings of each of the different religions revolves around the same principles that progress us spiritually.

The core practices of any religious path are practiced by very few individuals, and they are the scientific means of spiritual awakening. Few individuals are able to dive deep enough in these precious teachings and implement them in their lives. They are truly practicing the essence of all religions even though they might be following a particular religious path.

Next in line are the spiritual teachings. They are different from religions and morality, even though they include all the good things of them. Spiritual teachings are the direct means of spiritual awakening in a direct and practical way. These are the underlying science of all religions. They are the different pathways of freedom in Spirit.

The spiritual development can be tremendously advanced when we come in contact with spiritually advanced or enlightened person. It is like transformation of a piece of iron into a magnet by coming in contact with a magnet.

Understanding The Practical Aspect Of Spiritual Awakening:

Spiritual awakening is the unfolding of Spirit in us. We know in theory that we are souls but our thoughts, speech and behavior are far away from the spiritually attuned life.

Under normal conditions, we are influenced and attached to objects of five senses of sound, touch, vision, taste and smell, and to prejudices, biases and conditioning of our mind.

When we are advancing spiritually, we become connected at first with our own soul - the consciousness in us. And then, Spirit begins to influence our mind and body. This is like gradual spiritualization of our entire being.

We become more peaceful, more content, more productive, more integrated, more in harmony with us and with all of nature. We feel connected. The bonds of senses and bad habits begin to loose their hold on us.

Ultimately they shed off as if they had been foreign to us. We begin to accept ourselves, we become more connected, and we manifest the joy that is our nature. Remember pleasure is derived from contact of desired sense objects to senses and joy is our internal nature.

I remember the saying of one great saint. He preached to his disciples, "The true sign of spiritual advancement is getting non-causal joy during your spiritual practices and feeling glimpses of it during your working hours. Gradually as you become more and more intoxicated with this joy, know that you are progressing in Spirit. You will be fulfilled with this joy like no other things." This equals to the rejoicing in Spirit mentioned the teaching of Christianity.

Another important sign is feeling connected with all - nature, men and women and with all that exists. At first, the feeling of connectedness will be with our own self. Then, this experience will broaden and broaden. The whole life, whole nature, the universe will feel connected.

Most people attach miracles with spiritual advancement. It is non-issue with spiritually awakened person. Miracles are the normal functioning of spiritually advanced individuals. They are more able to experience and work through deep states of consciousness. It is natural to them.

The most important thing is to realize and accept that we are here for spiritual awakening. This realization could be instant under some instances, or it could be gradual like in most cases.

Second step is making little steps leading a more healthy, intelligent and balanced life. Third step is following spiritual practices and then adhering to some specific one that is more appealing to us.

Fourth step is not worrying too much about spiritual awakening. When you eat healthy and exercise and follow some good diet plan, you grow healthier naturally, day by day, each day. The same applies to spiritual growth. Leave this part to Spirit. Let Him take care.
